Privacy Statement

Data Processed by Our Tools

All tools on ToolZen are designed to run directly in your browser. Data you enter into our tools (text, files, code, etc.) is processed locally in your browser's memory and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

For tools that require server-side processing (such as network diagnostics and URL analyzers), only the minimum data required for the operation is sent, and it is not retained after the response is delivered.

Information We Collect

ToolZen may collect general, non-personally-identifiable information about website usage, such as pages visited, referring URLs, and browser type. This information is used solely to improve the service.

We do not collect or store personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it (e.g. via a contact form).

Cookies

ToolZen uses a minimal number of cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the website, including:

  • Preference cookies (e.g. dark mode, language, font size) — stored in localStorage in your browser;
  • Session cookies for load balancing and server affinity where applicable.

We do not use cookies to track individual users or build advertising profiles.

Third-Party Services

ToolZen may integrate third-party services such as analytics providers and advertising networks (e.g. Google AdSense). These services operate under their own privacy policies, which ToolZen does not control. We encourage you to review their policies.

Sensitive Data

We strongly advise against submitting sensitive data — including health records, financial information, confidential business data, credentials, or personally identifiable information — through any of our tools without first obtaining approval from your organization's security, compliance, or legal department. ToolZen shall not be liable for any data submitted by users.

Security

ToolZen uses HTTPS encryption to protect data in transit. User preferences are stored locally in your browser only. We implement reasonable security practices; however, no system is entirely immune to security vulnerabilities.
